From May 24th to May 25th 2016, the Future Tire Conference was held along with the biggest world
tire expo - Reifen Essen. Organized by Crain Communications and European Rubber Journal, the
conference mainly focuses on current trends that are shaping the future of the tire industry.
Representatives from international associations, tire makers and their suppliers as well as
automotive OEMs have discussed topics ranging from business trends in global tire markets to new
advances in manufacturing and materials technologies.

Karol Vanko, the Vice President of MESNAC, was invited to be a member of experts’ discussion panel
-- "How lean, automated and flexible can tire manufacturers become?" Together with professionals
and executives from Michelin, Goodyear, Pelmar Engineering and Quehenberger Logistics, Karol
Vanko briefed on MESNAC efforts of contributing to lean, automated and flexible manufacture, from
existing logistic and warehouse projects, to RFID application and mixing area automation practices.
